Responsibilities
Strategic Management
- Co-operate with the Managing Director and Group Financial Controller to create, develop, implement and approve strategic plans for business development;
- Monitor and refine strategic plans where necessary to ensure the agreed growth on an annual basis;
- Co-operate and liaise with all internal departments involved in the implementation of the strategic plan;
Market Analysis
- Work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams to evaluate specific healthcare markets;
- Maintain strong relation with KOLs to identify market trends and environmental changes;
- Attend industry functions, such as International Congresses and National Conferences to attain information on markets and healthcare advances.
- Research and identify opportunities for distributor agreements to enhance and further develop the portfolio of the company;
Field Sales Management
- Liaise with HR and finance department to allocate resources;
- Identify key knowledge and skill requirements;
- Appoint sales managers and team;
- Work with marketing/admin staff to ensure that prerequisites (import licenses, tender lists) are fulfilled within a timely manner;
Principal Supplier Development
- Prospect potential principals for product ranges suitable to the Vietnamese market;
- Promote the company's position as the leading Integrated Healthcare provider in Vietnam through the company's core Vision and Values;
- Identify and establish strong relations with key decision makers. Act as liaison between principal suppliers and the company;
- Make all necessary presentations and promotional activities;
- Liaise with key clients to understand needs and goals; provide solutions and services to meet these requirements;
- Carry out supporting market research and evaluation for product lines and presents credible business plans;
- Discuss and present business plans to the company managers for resource allocation and approval;
- Maintain strong presence with Key Decision Makers to sustain strong relations and to maximize on all existing and future opportunities;
Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least a Degree or medical related disciplines or its equivalent. Preferably MBA from a reputable business school;
- Over 10 years working experience and knowledge in Healthcare Industry, of which 5 - 8 years in the senior management position led a team of at least 5 -10 people;
- In - depth knowledge of the Healthcare Industry;
- Good English or other language in both spoken and written;
