ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Within SMT - Design of optimized human interfaces in the following areas:
  • Raw material delivery process, storage and line feed systems.
  • Product flow and online material handling systems.
  • WIP management, sizing and buffer storage systems.
  • Ergonomic workstation design and layout.
  • Process optimization.
  • Layout of the workcell.
  • 5S housekeeping techniques.
IE in Box Build/DF:
  • Includes all the role in SMT and:
  • Develop/Sustain/Improve all assembly processes.
  • Time study analysis.
  • Own and drive yield improvement programs.
  • Box build quote and products.
  • MES support.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Typically reports to Management. Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: Industrial Engineering Manager
  • Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management).
