RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in setting up the sales & marketing plan annually
Is familiar with revenue & yield management strategies of the hotel and applies them on a daily basis. Records, tracks and follow up any communications / negotiation with client. Executes the schedules number of sales calls, assign to individual sales person. Report sales activities to the DOSM weekly. Actively engages junior staff in sales calls. Supervises, maintains and work with the difference data base/ CRM. Work very closely with the operations departments included but not limited Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Spa, Sport and Maintenance. Be fully aware of competition and national market situation (rate, trend and other). Promotes the hotel as often as possible through entertaining, conducting, site inspections and presentations of the hotel. Keep close contact with former, existing and potential clients. Achieves budgeted revenues and conversion of key prospects through the acting plans. Follow-up service to each account to ensure all guests complaints are taken seriously and discussed with the respective departments if necessary. Engages successfully negotiation with clients under supervision of the DOSM & GM. At all times to promote hotel images in the best manner and all forms of communication. Maintains a close working communication with professional people, the press, media, staffs, clients/guests and companies who are potential existing and current supporters of the hotel.
