Job Responsibilities
- Analyzes potential acquisition candidates, performs complex financial modeling, and executes the negotiation and execution of selected transactions. Engages with business intermediaries, sellers, internal business owners and other support personnel.
- Researches industry participants and competitive landscape to develop actionable awareness of potential acquisition candidates aligning with business strategy.
- Evaluates target companies for economic and strategic fit and understands and evaluates the impact of the potential transaction on business strategy.
- Supports all aspects of strategic acquisitions and divestitures, from inception through due diligence, valuation, negotiation, closing and integration (PMI), and coordinates internal approval and communication processes for completion of a transaction.
- Supports and facilitates measurement of acquisition performance and transaction reporting.
- Works with cross-functional teams consisting of members of various business leads, finance, legal, HR, IT, etc. in order to ensure timely completion of valuations, diligence and integration planning.
