Our client is a well-known Group in Hanoi, operating in many different industries. Due to its restructuring for ambitious goal of the Group in hospitality industry in the upcoming years, the Organisation is looking for experienced and enthusiastic Director of Sales for the sharp business development. The selected Business Development Director will be in charge of overall strategies, management, execution and evaluation of Sales for the entire Hospitality Group and will be in charge of the following

  • Develop the business forecast, sales strategy and business plan, marketing plans budgets in conjunction with the Revenue Manager and for each region and market segments.
  • Lead and direct the Sales Department and local Sales Team to ensure the appropriate decisions are made and the values of the Brands are developed to correctly position the hotel and to drive incremental revenue.
  • Maintain inbound, corporate and MICE clients and the business from these segment. Interact and develop business with clients and present statistical analysis together with performance report
  • Manage all aspects of the sales & marketing operation.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities and client feedback in order to adjust tactics and strategies as well as to give advice and support to the CEO.
  • Understand the dynamics of the local and key emitting markets, demand generators and sales channels - is able to determine and implement appropriate actions for each business unit/segment.
  • Actively participate in community and professional organizations to maintain high visibility and promote the positive image of the Organization.
  • Ensure appropriate hiring, training, motivating, coaching, and developing of department's hosts.
  • Explore opportunities for joint ventures with domestic industry partners that produce viable Sales revenue.
  • Devise and implement a sales call plan program with regular follow up on effectiveness and plan when appropriate to respond to market/business needs.
  • Develop and implement an information flow system that ensures the Sales, Events & Revenue & Reservations team are informed of Organization promotions/initiatives and vice versa.
