- Creates and manages the new product to support the business to achieve its business objectives.
- Collaborates cross-functionally to drive the concept to product and bring new product to market.
- Identifies Marketing opportunities by analysing and defining the total market size, key competitors, their portfolio and potential areas of category exploration.
- Support for the design, development and implementation of products by initiating research to identify consumer needs; develop new products to meet consumer needs; research consumer acceptance of products; work with manufacturing to identify packaging improvements. Periodically presents project updates to the MT Members.
- Build the P&L
- Initiate and continue new concepts/products: Proof of concept, Market viability validation, Business case development, Resource requirements, Internal validation testing.
- Handle all aspects of taking successful new product concepts through commercialization.
- Coordinate with Commercial Team and TDM for RTM finalization and volume development.
- Responsible for Performance Evaluation Analysis: sales and cost performance validation of Customer/Market feedback and identify improvements.
- Maintain ongoing communication with the Operations team including R&D, Packaging, Procurement, Manufacturing and Engineering to ensure the understanding of possible new ingredients, packaging and manufacturing technology. Incorporate this learning into new product development process.
- Lead the identification, development and analysis of the project justification for new production.
