Navigos Search and Hanoi Mechanical and Electrical College have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the soft skill training for lecturers and students of Hanoi Mechanical and Electrical College.

This bilateral partnership will provide essential skills for students of the Hanoi Mechanical and Electrical College such as resume writing and job interview.

For lecturers, Navigos Search also offers the above courses so that these lecturers can then train their future students.

Training courses for students are expected to commence in Quarter I/2018 to assist graduating students. These courses will be delivered by highly experienced recruitment consultants from Navigos Search.

Ms. Nguyen Phuong Mai – Managing Director of Navigos Search – said: “As a leading recruitment business in Vietnam, we have noticed certain inadequacies in the quality of Vietnamese employees, even with mid and high-level executives. As the result, we sincerely wish to contribute to the improvement of labor quality via training and education. We will also provide graduating students with updated market information so that they can best prepare to join the labor market. Training college students is our new strategy aimed at creating a fair competition between university and college students”.

Speaking at the Signing ceremony, Mr. Dong Van Ngoc – Dean of Hanoi Mechanical and Electrical College – said: “I believe that this partnership with Navigos Search will bring great values to our students, helping to guarantee the quality of graduates. Our students will become more confident in applying to leading professional employers. At the same time, our lecturers will also gain more knowledge and skills in the teacher of soft skills to students”.

With the hope of improving Vietnam’s labor quality, in previous years, Navigos Search has been offering practical corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities aimed at the young working force.

Besides continuous training and consultation for students of universities in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, in 2018, Navigos Search is going to launch training programs for students of technical colleges, of which the Hanoi Mechanical and Electrical College is the first partner of ours this year. This is a part of Navigos Search’s CSR strategy in 2018, helping students win over recruiters to achieve the best careers after graduation.
